Roger Nygard is the filmmaker behind "Trekkies," "Trekkies 2," and the new documentary "The Nature of Existence," which looks at the similarities and differences between religious, scientific, and atheistic worldviews on life, the universe, and everything. In part one of their conversation with Roger, Gene and Brodie cover his vast television and film career, his role in stand-up comedy, his observations about evolution theory and human behavior, the power of Gumby, the trickery of car salesmen, and the ethical minefields that are Oreo cookies and Porto's bread.
